Built-in Applications

Several built-in applications are provided with the framework distribution:

• The scenario Application allows to execute a scenario defined in an XLSX file
• The recorder Application allows to record a scenario in an XML file
• The player Application allows to replay a scenario recorded by the recorder
• The Ivy application allows to communicate with an Ivy bus
• The UA application is an ARINC 661 UA application
• The Joystick application is able to manage the Joystick
• The Service merger Application allows to merge several services in one or split one service in several services
• The userInputs application allows the user to invoke services or be notified from services manually
• The Jena application allows the user to invoke the Apache Jena ontology framework
• The External Communication allows to communicate through UDP or TCP with any external process
• The xulInterface Application allows the use of a declarative GUI
• The MaryTTS Application is a wrapper around the MaryTTS library
• The Sphynx Application is a wrapper around the Sphynx library
• The vosk Application is a wrapper around the vosk library
• The Logger application allows to log messages and service content

Distribution

Each built-in application distribution has the following content:

• The binaries of the application (and the libraries on which the application depends on)
• A README.txt file explaining succintly the features of the application
• A "specs" directory containing the framework XML configuration for the application

Note that in some cases several modules are distributed in the same zip file. For example the scenario, recorder, and replay applications are all distributed in the scenarioEngine<version>.zip file.
